Feeling down in life? Feel a sort of reckless abandon? Want to maybe be cursed to hell? Try summoning one of these demons, taken directly from the Ars Goetia itself. I'll give you the sigils, but I'll leave it to you to look up how to summon them exactly. One of the tried-and-true originals, this guy commands 66 legions of spirits and appears in “divers shapes”, sometimes like a cat, sometimes like a toad, sometimes like a man, and sometimes all three at once. He speaks very hoarsely and his sole ability is to make men invisible. Who hasn't wanted to do that? Another of the ancients you might remember from history class, Amon is a Marquis great in power and most strong. He'll first appear as a wolf with a snake's tail and literally vomiting flames. His main thing is telling of all things past and to be, as well he “reconcileth” friends and foes. A relative newcomer, Paimon doesn't go anywhere without fanfare. He'll show up on a camel roaring behind hosts of spirits playing trumpets, clashing cymbals, and generally making a fuss. You can't even understand his voice without compelling him to make sense. He has a variety of abilities including to “discover wt þe Earth is, and wt holdeth it up in the waters & wt þe wind is or where it is.” Whatever that means. A Marquis great in power, Leraye appears as an archer clad in green and carrying a bow and quiver. He apparently causes all great battles and contests, and causes arrow-wounds to putrify. He'd probably feel a bit out-of-place in modern times. Zepar appears clad in red and armed like a soldier, and his power is to cause women to love men and to bring them together, probably what at least 50% of people are summoning demons for. Appearing as a strong man with the tail of a serpent, Bathin's got all your travel needs looked after. He can “transport men suddenly from one country into an other”. Teleportation. Aw yeah. Along with having an awesome name, This guy's office is to bring back to you stolen goods and punishing thieves, thusly a useful team member. Not only is this guy a King and a President (move over Simeon Borisov Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, seriously look it up), he shows up as a bull with gryphon's wings (so, eagles' wings?) and, by way of transmuting blood to wine, wine into water, and water into wine can whip up a refreshing beverage. Vepar initially appears as a mermaid despite being a dude and his office is to guide the waters and ships upon such. He can also cause the seas to be rough and stormy or full of other illusory ships, as well as the typical demon ability to cause men to have putrifying wounds and worms in them.
